JEFFERSON HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL TEAM IS HOPING FOR A LEAGUE WIN THIS SPRING By:Matthew Espinoza

Micheal Novack is a returning Senior for the Jefferson Township High School Baseball team. He knows the skill of his players on the team and an idea of the other teams in their conference. He believes that the baseball team could win this year.

Novack said, “We have nine returning Seniors when last year we only had around five with more Seniors coming back."

More of the starters can be Seniors. This gives the team to have more experience on the starting line up. Novack says that he believes that the team can win the conference this year since the other teams are not as good as the past years. This will help them make a playoff run with the team that they have for the 2021 season.

Novack also thinks that getting playing time will be hard for his coach to split up between players. There are a lot of good players at each position and that different people can play the same position. With nine returning Seniors the baseball team is looking good this year and have a chance at a playoff run.
